AutoCRC Student Project Program  - 2011 now closed

For undergraduates we provide the opportunity and funding to complete a final year project within the automotive industry. AutoCRC has offered over 50 undergraduate students a year the opportunity to work within an industry setting with both industry and academic supervisors. The projects are financially supported by AutoCRC enabling advanced research, design and testing projects. Students involved in the program can expect to:

  • work on a real world problem or project that is important to the automotive industry
  • produce real solutions of potential value to the industry
  • use state-of-the-art equipment and software
  • observe the automotive industry from the inside
  • practice skills in presentation and professional communications
  • display their abilities to one or more potential employers
  • develop professional skills and attitudes of long term career value

Each participating university has a lecturer who is coordinating these projects with AutoCRC, these are listed below.

AutoCRC Student Research Awards

The annual AutoCRC student research awards were announced at a ceremony at RMIT University on October 22nd 2010. The winner was selected from six finalists who all presented their research to an audience of academic and automotive industry participants. The first prize was awarded to Mr Paul Gangemi for his research into Fuel Composition Sensing.
